Hi {{first_name}},

Ever since my book launch, it’s felt like I’ve been on a rocketship.

As invitations for podcast interviews, press features, and speaking engagements across the United States and abroad continue to arrive, I can’t help but feel that the universe is responding to a need - that this work is reaching the people it is meant to reach. It is a feeling that is nothing short of pure, heart-expanding bliss.

This month alone, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my grandmother’s story through interviews, articles, and conversations with audiences who are eager to learn about a chapter of history that is too often overlooked. I’m excited to share several upcoming speaking events below, along with recent press coverage and a new essay on Substack that explores why collective healing matters now more than ever.

One of the reasons I decided to publish my book was because of the psychological impact that the widespread dismissal of my family’s collective pain had on me. With the recent closures and cuts affecting Slavic Studies programs - as well as many humanities and ethnic studies departments across U.S. universities - the familiar feeling of being unseen, dismissed, and minimized has begun to surface again.

As history repeats itself in my own life, the urgency of this work seems to skyrocket. The juxtaposition of feeling deeply aligned with one's purpose while simultaneously witnessing the dismissal of stories like my family's is difficult to describe. Yet, in many ways, I am not surprised.

Which is why I need your help.

As younger generations lose access to learning about this already underrepresented history, and as the war in Ukraine continues to unfold, the possibility of its consequences extending beyond current borders feels increasingly tangible. If that statement makes you pause, then perhaps you feel it too.

If you have not yet picked up a copy of my babcia’s story, I hope you will. And if it moves you, please share it with others.

If you have already read the book, one of the most meaningful ways you can support this work is by leaving a review. Every review helps this story reach another reader, another family, another classroom, and another community that may never have otherwise encountered this history. In many ways, reviews are how remembrance continues.

At the end of the day, this work is not about me. It is about creating a doorway into understanding, healing, and human connection. It is about helping others see that even in the darkest chapters of history, kindness, resilience, and courage remain possible. Most importantly, it is about remembering that beneath every label, nationality, religion, or political identity, there are human beings who deserve to be seen, remembered, and allowed to live in peace.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for reading, sharing, attending events, leaving reviews, and helping keep these stories alive.

Where My Thoughts Have Been

We Cracked the Code for Global Peace

Last year, I started a training in collective trauma release facilitation. Midway through the course, I had an experience which proved how holding space for other human beings, located in parts of the world carrying deep wounds, can usher in collective forgiveness and peace. It was a life-changing experience with ripple effects emanating throughout my body ever since.

Stay tuned for more details on upcoming events, talks and podcasts.

With gratitude,

Iza

What 300+ Google Ads audits taught us about wasted spend

Across 300+ ecommerce accounts and $15M+/mo in managed spend, the same gaps keep showing up:

→ 15-30% of budget hiding in campaigns that should've been paused months ago

→ Product feeds with missing attributes silently capping Shopping reach

→ Conversion tracking misattributing revenue, so every scaling decision is built on bad data

→ PMax campaigns cannibalising branded search instead of finding new customers

Echelonn works exclusively with ecommerce brands on Google and YouTube Ads. If you're spending $20K+/month and not confident your account is structured to scale, the audit will show you exactly where the gaps are.

No pitch. No sales deck. Just a free audit and a clear list of what to fix first.
